地盤を補強する工事である「砕石パイル工法」
というのは、小さく砕いた砕石を地中に埋め込んで形成した
石柱（パイル）を使い地盤を補強する工事です。
砕石は天然石なので、土壌や環境にもやさしく
他の補強工事に比べて土地の資産価値を守るという点でも
メリットのある工事です。

石柱は建物が建つ予定の場所に埋めていきます。
砕石なので、水はけも良く液状化を防ぐ効果も期待できます。
また、同程度の家であれば、将来建て替える際にも
そのまま利用することができます。

このような機械で地中に穴を開け、砕石を埋めていきます。
地盤改良を行うことで、１０年の地盤保証が付いてきます。
メリットの多い砕石パイルによる地盤改良ですが、
デメリットがあるとすると、他の改良工事より若干費用面で
高くなる傾向があるというところだと思います。
また、地質によっては採用できない場合もあるようです。

最終的にはこのような土地になります。
地面に青いスプレーでマーキングしてあるのが、
砕石パイルを施工した箇所です。
これで改良も完了しましたので、基礎工事に進みます。
次は「遣り方」という建物の基準を設定する仮設物を
設置する作業です。

地盤調査の結果、地盤改良の必要ありとなったワンダークラフト建設予定地。
改良方法の検討の結果、地中を掘削して砕石を埋める「砕石パイル工法」を選択しました。
