まず建物に対して基準となる地面の高さを決めます。
これをＧＬ（グランドライン）と言います。
その後、写真のように1.8ｍ間隔で杭を打っていきます。
これは水杭（みずぐい）と言います。
その後にレーザー機器で水平を出しながら、
杭と杭を水貫板（みずぬきいた）でつないでいきます。
すると写真のような真っ直ぐに板が打たれるんですね！

水杭と水貫が動かないように、筋交い（すじかい）板を
取り付けたら、土地をぐるっと囲むように板で作った囲い
「遣り方」の完成です。
完成したら、水貫と水貫を糸を張って建物の水平線を記します。
この時の糸を「水糸（みずいと）」と言うんですね。
なんで水杭に、水貫に、水糸なのか？って思いませんか？
昔は、レーザーの機械とかなかったので、透明なチューブに
水を入れて、水平を出していたからだそうですよ。

今度は床掘（とこぼり）です。
最近の住宅の基礎は、ほとんどが「ベタ基礎」と呼ばれる基礎です。
ベタ基礎というのは、基礎の壁の部分だけでなく
床の部分もコンクリートになっている基礎のことを言います。

防水シートを全面に張ってから、その上にコンクリートを流します。
「捨てコンクリート」と呼ばれるものです。
これで地面からの湿気対策も万全です。

境界ブロックが積まれ、モデルハウスの基礎工事が始まりました。
